Embrace Pregnancy Yoga

Pregnancy yoga in Peterborough

We pride ourselves on providing warm, welcoming classes suitable for all levels - so please don't worry if you've never stepped foot on a yoga mat before! 


Our sessions are specifically designed to support and strengthen pregnant bodies, in a gentle and easy to follow way. Your practice can be adapted to suit you as your pregnancy progresses, and to accommodate any other health considerations, such as sciatica or pelvic girdle pain.   


Pregnancy Yoga provides a huge number of benefits for you and baby;


  • Physical postures and stretches build strength, stamina and confidence to support you through your pregnancy and birth
  • Breathing techniques are taught and practiced each week to support you during your pregnancy and birth
  • The opportunity to discuss different aspects of pregnancy, birth and parenthood each week
  • A dedicated space to bond with your baby and embrace all the wonderful aspects of pregnancy
  • The opportunity to meet other mums-to-be in your area
  • Time to enjoy some beautiful (and well deserved!) deep relaxation - providing the opportunity to release tension, calm the mind, and ease any anxieties you may have about pregnancy and birth

When?

Wednesdays 6.30pm - 7.30pm

When is best to start?

It is normally worth waiting until you are at least 12 weeks pregnant before starting classes. 


If you have any pre-existing medical conditions or have any serious problems during pregnancy, please speak with your GP or midwife before starting class and detail on your booking form.

How much does it cost?

Classes are booked in blocks of 8 sessions and cost £99.

Re-booking options become more flexible as your due date approaches.

Can I join online?

Yes! Every class is streamed live online, so if you are unable to make it in person you can log in from the comfort of your own home. A recording of each class is then provided so you can practice again, or catch up if you were unable to attend. 

What do I need?

Mats are provided for you, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. You will just need something comfortable to wear and bring a drink to stay hydrated. You might also like to bring a nice cosy blanket for relaxation - and maybe a pillow too!

What happens if I miss a session?

Classes must be taken consecutively and no refunds will be offered if you are unable to attend. However, a recording of each session is available after each class so you can practice at home at a time to suit you.
